Terms of service
These terms govern your use of mymemo — the mobile app and the web app at web.mymemo.cloud. By creating an account you accept them.
1. Who provides the service
The service is provided by mymemo ("we", "us"). Contact: support@mymemo.cloud.
2. What mymemo does
mymemo records what you say, transcribes it, proposes a structure for it — a note, a task or a cost, with a date, category, amount or place — and stores it for you. You confirm or correct each suggestion before it is saved.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use mymemo.
- Give an e-mail address you actually control. Account recovery depends on it, and so does any deletion request.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens through your account where that results from your failure to keep your credentials secure.
- Tell us promptly at support@mymemo.cloud if you think someone else has access.
4. Your content stays yours
Everything you put into mymemo — entries, photos, recordings, files — remains yours. We claim no ownership of it.
You grant us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your content, transmit it between your devices, process recordings into text, and create thumbnails and previews. That permission exists for the purpose of operating mymemo and for no other purpose, and it ends when you delete the content or your account. We do not use your content for advertising and we do not use it to train artificial-intelligence models.
5. Accuracy of automatic suggestions
Transcription and the structure proposed from it are produced automatically and will sometimes be wrong — misheard words, a wrong date, a wrong amount, a wrong category. They are suggestions, shown to you for confirmation. Check anything that matters before relying on it.
mymemo is a personal notes tool. It is not accounting, tax, financial, legal, medical or any other kind of professional advice, and figures it produces are not a substitute for your own records.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use mymemo for anything unlawful, or to store content you have no right to hold;
- upload material that infringes someone else's rights;
- record other people where doing so would break the law where you are;
- attempt to breach, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or to circumvent usage limits;
- resell the service or access it by automated means outside any interface we provide for that purpose.
7. Availability
We work to keep mymemo running, but we do not guarantee it will be available without interruption or free of faults. We may take it down for maintenance, and we may change or discontinue features. Where a change is significant and to your disadvantage, we will give you reasonable notice and you may close your account.
Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. The app offers an export for this.
8. Free use, credits and paid features
mymemo is currently provided free of charge, with a monthly allowance of credits that limits how much automatic transcription and processing an account can use. Allowances may change.
If we introduce paid features, their price and terms will be shown to you before you buy, and purchases made through an app store are also subject to that store's terms. Where you buy digital content as a consumer, you have a statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days, except to the extent you have asked for immediate performance and acknowledged that the right is lost once performance begins.
9. Ending it
You may stop using mymemo at any time and ask us to delete your account: see deleting your account.
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches section 6, or where we are required to by law. Except where it would be unlawful or plainly inappropriate, we will tell you why and give you an opportunity to respond and to export your content.
10. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for intentional damage, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited under Polish law — including your statutory rights as a consumer, which these terms do not affect.
Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, revenue or business opportunity, or for loss or corruption of content where you have not kept your own copy.
The service is provided as it is. To the extent permitted by law, and without affecting the statutory rights of consumers, we give no warranties about fitness for a particular purpose or about the accuracy of automatic transcription and suggestions.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters to you, we will tell you in the app or by e-mail before it takes effect. Continuing to use mymemo after that means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, you may close your account.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules of the law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
We would rather sort things out directly — write to support@mymemo.cloud first. Consumers may also use out-of-court dispute resolution; in Poland, information is available from the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK).
13. Privacy
How we handle your personal data is described in our privacy policy.
